What You Will Experience

What You Will Experience

We pray that you will experience God in this place - through Biblical teaching, heartfelt worship, and engaging fellowship.

Bible

Biblical Teaching

"All scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." 2 Timothy 3:16

Our belief is that the Bible is the holy, infallable Word of God. In this book, God reveals everything we need to know for our salvation. All teaching at Lebanon CRC has its foundation in the Bible.

We also teach using the creeds and confessions of the Christian Reformed Church. These pieces of liturature are based on the Bible. They are a concise and unified way of understanding our beliefs and the way they relate to our world.

Worship

Worship

"Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe."
Hebrews 12:28

Our worship is rooted in true thankfulness to God because of what he has done for us - sent his one and only Son to die for our sins and our salvation. Worship at Lebanon is a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary praise music. Our morning service follows a traditional order, while the evening service may be less formal and more interactive.

Fellowship

Fellowship

"We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ." 1 John 1:3

At Lebanon, we fellowship as a family of believers. During the service, we usually have an informal time of greeting one another. At the end of the service, the pastor or an elder will greet you as you leave the sactuary. The service is followed by a time of fellowship in the narthex. We hope you will feel warmed by our welcome and leave feeling uplifted and encouraged. We look forward to getting to know you!
